About the human being

The human being is the supreme object of God's creation. Human beings are made in the image and likeness of God to enjoy His company and be like Him in character, therefore, people have a tremendous potential to do good. Even so, man has a tendency to disobey God, or in other words, to “sin.” This sin distances people from God and caused them many problems in life.

Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Isaiah 59:1,2; Romans 3:23

About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe, he has existed eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are equal and one God. The Trinity is the Tri-unity.

Genesis 1:1, 26-27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19;2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is divine, therefore he can be our Savior, and therefore he is co-equal with the Father. Jesus Christ, born by the work and grace of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary, lived a human life without sin, and when he died on the cross, he offered himself as the perfect, unique and substitutive sacrifice for the sins of everyone who, repentant, trusts in Him.
He rose from the dead on the third day to demonstrate His victory and power over sin and death and to show that His sacrifice is sufficient for our salvation. He ascended to heaven and will return to earth again to reign eternally as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22,23; John 1:1-5; 5:22-23; 14:10-30; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3,4;1 Corinthians 15:3,4; 1 Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 4:14,15

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is divine and therefore can be our constant helper and, therefore, co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. It is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Christ Jesus, it enables them to approach God and leads them to repentance. It lives in every Christian from the moment he recognizes Jesus as his only Savior. It provides the Christian with understanding of spiritual truths, direction toward what is right, and strength to live according to God's will. He also gives each believer at least one spiritual gift at the time of their salvation, as a "birthday gift." As Christians we must live under His control daily, moment by moment, and use the gifts received for the benefit of others.

About the Bible

The Bible is the inerrant word of God. It was written by about 40 human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, inspired by God. It is the supreme and absolute resource of truth for Christian faith and life.

About Salvation

Salvation is God's gift to us, a gift. We cannot make up for our sins through good works or personal struggle, we can only be saved through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, this is God's offer for the forgiveness of our sins. God gives us eternal life through Christ Jesus, so the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation cannot be lost, Salvation is obtained and maintained by the grace and power of God working in us.

Our fidelity and commitment to the Lord is our logical and obligatory response.

John 1:12; 3:5-8; John 14:6; Romans 5:1;6:23; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 2:1, 8-9; Titus 3:5; John 10:29; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10-14; 1 Peter 1:3-5

About eternity

People were created to live forever in a perfect relationship with our Creator, but today we either exist separated from God through sin or eternally united with God thanks to His forgiveness and salvation. Eternal separation from God is hell. Living in eternal union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places for an eternal existence and impossible to change once we have died.
